Longina Chiratidzo Tawodzera, Guest Contributor

My name is Longina Chiratidzo Tawodzera, I was born in Zimbabwe and moved to Canada 12 years ago. I am a Registered Practical Nurse by day, currently completing my Bachelor’s Degree in Indigenous Social Work at Laurentian University and I am a blogger by night. Also, I am a wife, a mom to two beautiful children (I know everyone says their children are beautiful but mine truly are 😊). I like watching movies and staying indoors but recently I have been spending a lot of time outdoors and I discovered I actually like it.

My blog “imperfection lives here” focuses on encouraging women to celebrate their differences because it is what makes us unique and we all have something to offer that is unique to us. As women, we should not strive for perfection but instead, let us aim to be the best version of ourselves in everything we do. Embrace your journey, who you are and the place that you are and know that whatever you want out of this life is possible.

My hope is that one I get to be in a room full of powerful women who will encourage, inspire and empower generations of women because when one of us wins everyone wins and that is the Girl Power Effect, it leaves no woman behind. Visit my website: https://www.imperfectionliveshere.com/
