First GirlPower Podcast honouring #BHM2023 by Gina Gegoju

On February 28 th , I was honoured to host the First GirlPower Podcast entitled “Using our Girl Power in celebration of Black History Month”. The Girl Powereffect partnered with Theresa Nyabeze a Mining Professional and Author, and Natasha Legault an HR Professional and Aspiring Professional Coach to discuss how we use our Girl Power to lift others up in celebration of Black History Month (BHM). We recognize that BHM holds a different meaning for every individual person, however, to us it symbolizes a journey, the possibility, and actuality of how races can continue to unite, celebrate and work together while acknowledging and honoring those who came before us and made it possible. Our hope is that we continue to celebrate our differences in our togetherness. Through this conversation, this Podcast highlights the many ways this can be achieved.
