It has been a while since we last posted on our #Girlpowereffect blog. #Girlpowereffect is committed to amplifying women and girl voices and sharing information that is uplifting and empowering. This month in Canada is Black History Month. We look forward to sharing empowering stories from our black sisters. We are also excited that there is a record number of women serving in political leadership roles across the World. The solidarity of women and girls is extremely important therefore it is critical that our movement continues to organize, train, educate and amplify social media activism. We note that the first FLOTUS with a Ph.D. is Dr. Jill Biden. The first African-Asian Vice-President is VP Kamala Harris. Congratulations!!
